Dressmaker’s DollThis type of doll was popular in the 19th century as a way for dressmakers to showcase their talents and designs without having to make full-scale models of each dress. This particular doll was part of Mrs. Frank S. Hall’s extensive doll collection and was given to Woodburn in 1987. The Halls owned Woodburn from 1918 until 1953. |
